"Hot Wheels Summer Smash"
A Huge Success!
To all our friends and supporters of the Rhode Island Hot Wheels Club and Summer Smash, I want to inform you all that we had to cancel Summer Smash 6. We've had a great run over the last several years but without the proper tools to sell more tickets we can no longer afford to put out 75,000 dollars for a show, and only sell 300 to 325 tickets. To those 300 people who over the last 5 years have enjoyed Summer Smash I thank you from the bottom of my heart. The biggest disappointment is not being able to get together for another year. I'm sure the club will put out a smaller venue in the future, and maybe if certain key people step up to the plate to support the best show New England and the East Coast ever had than maybe the Smash will be back.
We have no regrets in what we achieved over the years but at this time we need to re-think the process.
